The deployment of safe, trusted robotic systems in transport and industry is fundamental for future human wellbeing. Supporting innovators to efficiently achieve regulatory approval to test and deploy robotic systems developed in Australia for Australian needs is essential. RAS-Gateway shows that targeted funding, allowing collaboration between hubs of expertise, such as QUT computation law group and Trusted Autonomous Systems (TAS), robotic innovators and software developers like Aginic, can deliver fit for purpose support for the Australian robotics industry. This document describes QUT’s role in the project.
